Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very gentle, deeply relaxing, and non-invasive treatment designed to stimulate your body’s lymphatic system. Unlike traditional massages, MLD utilises slow, rhythmic pumping and stretching movements to open main lymph nodes and encourage the natural flow of lymph fluid away from swollen areas and towards the open nodes.
Whether you are seeking relief from fluid buildup, wish to support your body's natural healing and immune functions or simply want a relaxing treatment, MLD is a great gentle option for boosted wellness.
The lymphatic vessels sit directly beneath the skin. Because of this, the treatment is always performed with a gentle pressure.
MLD works with the lymphatic system, not your muscles, if you are looking to relieve tight shoulders, deep muscle knots, or physical aches, I recommend booking one of the other traditional massage treatments instead.
